3/9/6 Finally back to work again - The weather has finally warmed up and we got started on installing the water main today. Even with the warm weather Joe D found places where there was 1-2 ft of frozen ground. We didn't get to actually tap the main as the person who was supposed to do the tapping showed up with a broken tap. We have to wait until next Monday to actually do the tap.
This is where the pipe meets the Main at the entrance to our driveway.
These are the two mains in the street the top one is the Gas and the bottom one is the water.
These are the parts neccesary for connecting the main and also the underground shutoff.

Because we had an open trench Joe D left the trucks to try and prevent any accidents.
